What is your favorite thing about DFA?
The projects! Through DFA, I have been able to work on so many impactful projects that help to solve pressing issues on campus. Being able to collaborate with my peers and develop potential solutions has been one of my favorite experiences throughout college.
What is your favorite TED Talk and why?
"The danger of a single story"
I really enjoyed this TED Talk by Novelist Chimamanda Adichie because it talks about how it is important to hear a diverse range of stories about a cultural group or people. If you hear only a single story, you can fall into the trap of believing stereotypes and misunderstanding history and culture.
What is a fun fact about you?
I had not tried a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or mac and cheese until I was in 12th grade.
