What is your favorite thing about DFA?
My favorite thing about DFA Texas is the members. We all come from drastically different backgrounds, but I love that everyone shares the same itch for using design as a tool for social impact, is on the same page about the value of collaboration, and cares about implementing changes both locally and at a grander scale.
What is your favorite TED Talk and why?
I've listened to this TED talk several times since I was 14, and every year I get older I feel like it holds more value to me. As an almost 20-year-old (and someone just interested in the relationship between upbringing and education), I love this TED talk for introducing the idea of teaching children how to think, as opposed to what to think.
What is a fun fact about you?
One of my favorite things to do is finding cheap flight tickets and planning trips on a budget.
